Driving to work each day, I drive along a bipass which takes me under several concrete overpasses. Often these are the site of negative or empty minded grafitti - however, on this particular route someone has taken the time to hang upside down and write some very positive messages for commuters heading towards the highway, and ultimately beginning their day. 1st overpass: YOU ARE AWESOME! 2nd overpass: TRUST YOURSELF! 3rd overpass: BE AWARE 4th overpass: ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! On the drive home are similar messages for the return trip. It always makes me smile that someone took the time to do this and I hoped others were noticing. This weekend my brother-in-law mentioned he noticed some great messages on his way to town one morning and having been feeling down it really gave him a boost. So the little things do get noticed and they do matter. Sometimes we can get to feeling that our little positive actions don't matter...when in fact the opposite is true...they are much more powerful than we often realize. Thanks to the anonymous artist...what a great way to start the day! M
