I was thinking about our senses and the pathways by which stimuli are transmitted to the brain for "processing" and the effects thereafter. Taste for example, food makes contact with the taste buds which receive chemical signals - (acidic, salty, sweet, bitter) which are then relayed to the brain with the aid of the olfactory receptors. Some tastes are rejected, many are enjoyed some acquired.
My question is.. is the causation of the stimuli something concrete or is it a matter of interpretation or belief?
Consider hypnosis; There are reports of skin blisters appearing after a session where the participant "experienced" a burn memory or after a burn experience was suggested.
What is actually happening and why? What is the nature of suggested reality? The nerves were stimulated and the body's reaction produced the blister. There are many other examples of non-ordinary even super human reactions to suggestion.
The history of the practice of hypnosis is varied. Some say it is an ancient Hindu healing practice. Some say Shamans first practiced the art which is probably the case since Shamans were the first adepts to practice what is now termed occult science.
So.. hypnosis could be viewed as a form of Magick. Western science explains hypnosis in basic cause and effect language however the nature of reality (language) is not absolute therefor the parameters can expand the language which IS the observer. Hypnosis proves at a level that belief manifests reality. In a broad sense everything is in flux...chaos, and the order is in our hands.

There is a reality that exists regardless of what we perceive it to be. However, I truly believe that our will can affect reality, whether that is belief, power of suggestion, prayer, strong desire. I have healed warts by willing them away, and have since read some interesting science to back it up. I can control my heart rate, and change my blood pressure at will. When I am sick, if I need to, I can choose to get better faster. I can heat my hands to the point that others can feel it, without knowing that I am doing so. I can control my body temperature fairly well. I'm not so good at cooling when it is hot, but I can choose to be cold or not to be cold in colder climates. I have shown others how to do these things, as they are simple, yet, those who do not believe have no success. My wife thinks I am full of crap, but doesn't mind me letting her have my jacket and gloves on cold days when she is unprepared. She has also witnessed the process of me making warts go away, on myself and other people, and when I ask her how she explains that, she just shrugs and says she doesn't know. We used to play a psychic game, and she finally quit because she was scared of the success we were having, mostly her own. So, yeah, I agree, to a degree. I have had no luck affecting Reality, though. How I deal with reality, to me, is the order that is in my hands.

It's amazing that you have those abilities. Your superpowers! Body temperature is regulated by the subconscious area of the brain. Meditation is the means to access the subconscious. I've read about and seen videos of Tibetan Monks raising their total body temperature. You've accessed that neural pathway and brought it under your will. You should write an article someday to teach others. The healing of warts is interesting. I believe the phenomena of spontaneous or rapid healing is a manifestation of the Unified Field Theory. It's more apparent when the healing is on another. Again the field is connected by the unconscious area of the brain. Belief is the way to understand the language connection, the concept to possibility. I think your wife will accept more if she sees the right language. You mentioned you've read some science. Gregg Braden writes about spontaneous healing. He speaks about belief which is a key circuit allowing the mind to explore. Science affords one to believe. Here's a clip of a recorded spontaneous healing of a tumor. The doctors already envisioned the balanced divine state of the body and through their collective fields, corrected the imbalance. When the quantum unified field becomes conscious, matter is created (or....reassembled), a Vedic belief. The highest mystical goal is to allow the perfect divine order to manifest through the will, everything improves though the opening of channels, interconnecting. It serves God and humanity and is a heavy responsibility. That's why exercising is so important....as you well know.

It's amazing that you have those abilities. Your superpowers! LOL, don't know about that! My grandfather told me when I was 12 that native americans had this trick by which, when faced with cold, they simply allowed the cold air to pass through their bodies and out the other side, without shivering or trying to fight it off. I practiced that for years, until I got pretty good at it, then began reading more in depth stuff about what I was doing. In 1989, I was taking a Water Safety Instructor's course in northern Pennsylvania in preparation for a summer job leading whitewater canoe trips. It was March, we were swimming in a lake, and the water was cold. One of the days, one of the guys began to get hypothermia, and I went out to rescue him. When I got him back to the dock, our group began to treat him, and I stood off to the side. My girlfriend noticed that my skin was purple and that I looked worse than he did. I was focused on my breathing and heartrate, and told her to tend to my friend. A couple of minutes later, she looked back to check on me, and walked over to ask me what I had done, as my skin was now red and there was steam rising off my body. It really is as simple as what my grandfather told me. Simple, with about 5 years of dedicated practice. Dr. Andrew Weil, in a little vitamin guide called "Vitamins and Minerals," talks about warts specifically. He says that he is not a researcher, but doctors know that the conventional treatments for warts never seem to work until the patient makes an internal decision that they no longer desire the warts to be there, and often, the decision is made after treatment has ceased. The patients typically think it is just a delayed reaction from the medicine, and the doctors have not really looked into the phenomenon.' Me, when I discovered that warts were a virus, I was taking a substantial daily regimen of vitamins, and I thought to myself, there is no way I can have a virus, I am way too healthy. I immediately began to see the warts as something that was "wrong," "out of place," and inconsistent with my view of my health. Within a month (no treatment), a plaque of roughly 500 plantar warts on my foot was gone. Has never returned. Since then, when I do get warts, when I am ready, I simply press them several times a day and say to myself, "Go away, you can't be here. I don't have a virus," and sometimes even, "You are not real." I have a neighbor who is a dermatologist who has witnessed this, but does not seem to be interested in pursuing the how. My son, when he was younger, believed that I did have superpowers. So, when he got a wart, I simply pushed on it daily and told him that his latent superpowers should expel the virus, and it worked. Now that he is a teenager and I am full of crap (because all parents of teenagers are), it no longer works. Fascinating. Familiar. That is way beyond what I do. Yep. I agree. But my friends/coworkers/family still think I am full of crap, despite the evidence. Probably because I so often am. [/quote]

When you sacrificed your body for your classmate then regenerated your own balance that was an act of a superhero....bravo! But I think the principle is the same. A virus needs to have a symbiotic relationship with the body. By pressing and envisioning the end state you have upset the virus' connection, exactly like the clip demonstrated. Everything comes into clarity when one (in-visions) the quantum state of manifestation. Do you have American Indian DNA in your family tree? Knowledge is recorded within DNA, instinct reveals that and recently scientists have discovered a method for storing information on or within DNA. www.messagetoeagle.com/dnabook.phpAlso science reveals that DNA emits photons...light. Light reveals... You and I both Brother..
