I started this board as an outlet to speak of our beloved. On January 13, 2012 I lost my beloved Pug Angus. He was the gentlest kindest doggy I have ever had the privilege of sharing life with. My other dog Joey, a Boston Terrier, was rather mean to him yet Angus always felt the need to protect his brother. When Joey would get out of line and I would scold him Angus would get up and lay between us as a buffer. He taught me a lot about love. He was always happy wagging his curly tail. He was a beautiful soul and I will miss him for as long as I live. He was blind in his left eye. When he was about three it had popped out of it's socket due to a nail or a bite from Joey. My vet tried to save it and sewed his lid shut over the eye hoping it would take. He lost his sight in it. Nevertheless he was still a happy boy.

Hello G,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss of wee Angus.
These seemingly simple creatures are not only our dearest friends, but also, at times, our greatest teachers - for they love unconditionally and with the deepest of loyalty.
May the lessons which Angus taught live on in your heart...as he surely will.
Kindest Blessings,
M
