It's been a focus lately...what exactly are memories?
Wikipedia says:
"In psychology, memory is an organism's ability to store, retain, and recall information and experiences."
What exactly is the information? Long term and short term memories are stored in different areas. Do memories simply fade away and why are some able to remember all life experiences? What is the space required for memory?
Enlightenment from within,
Humans are beings of fire, life energy burns like the Sun. Experiences chosen fuel the intensity of relative internal fusion. Like a light beam created from internal fire life energy is everlasting and will project everywhere without hindrance. What is space? Life energy can be described as a projection of inner emotion fired experience imprinted with personal resonance.
Why are some able to recall past life experiences?
Resonance induction perhaps because all experience is imprinted in the fabric of right now. So one may speculate that memories are perhaps not solely within the brain. But then there's instinct, knowledge born within. Could that be DNA resonance induction as well?

What an interesting question you've posed.
I sometimes think, being older now, that my ability to recall vividly very early memories of this life is not a common thing...and yet I believe it has something to do with being in tune with one's inner self...having adapted the ability to "be still" ...to just be.
Daily life is overwhelming at times...and we must learn to live for the moment and not become overcome by the "noise" of stress.
Those "memories" of things past ...or beyond this time... is, to me, more of a sense ...it is inherent...beyond DNA...something that is soulful, if you will. Is there then a cosmic DNA to our very essences (souls)? Something imprinted at the beginning that is omnipresent? Always beckoning....always urging us to seek...
One who is in tune with the Universe knows there are "memories" beckoning that are truly ancient...and is it this whisper that calls us onward - to find our true selves...for is that not what we all seek to find in the end? If this is true...perhaps we look too hard at times ... perhaps the glimpses we glean all lead us back to the same place.... the place we all know as "home".
I have searched very hard to find what is already there.

The cosmic DNA you speak of could be what is called the Akashic records. It's interesting, my past insights into memory before reading of this paralleled what is written on this which confirms the validity of the records...to me.
I believe this is what Cayce, Plato and Tesla tapped into.

I have searched very hard to find what is already there. With this realization, you have given yourself both an anchor and wings. This realization for me was quite overwhelming. Gave me the freedom and courage to fly, knowing that I could always find my way back.
