2001 an inner space odyssey

2001 a Space Odyssey was a ground breaking new age symbolic movie. Man's rise from the shackles of ignorance to illumination. I like most who first saw the movie "knew" that there was something more presented. I think it was 1976 when I saw it in a local collage theater. I was too young and ignorant to understand however I did make the HAL IBM connection. I've had many discussions about the movie's symbolic message. I was going through my bookmarks organizing and I discovered an article I saved that delves a bit deeper into the symbology.
