Could use some imput from you fellow music lovers... Chris' one daughter is getting married at the end of the month - and he is having a bit of trouble finding a song he likes and wants for the father/daughter dance. If any of you have any suggestions or ideas - let's hear them! We do need to let the DJ know fairly soon...so if anything comes to mind it would be much appreciated. Just looking for some other ideas that might touch Chris' soul...it needs to be special. Thanks guys! M

Thanks George...that is a beautiful song. Just after posting this yesterday, I googled songs and this one by Heartland just stood out...it just fits. Chris loved it right away. We're going to have the lyrics printed and framed with the date - a nice gift to keep forever...

Cheers! ;D Now I just have to help Chris with his speech. He has a terrible fear of public speaking... He's not a man of "words" so speaking his heart in front of others is very hard for him.

I used to have that fear. Have him speak in front of a couple of friends as practice. That's what I had done during my multi-level marketing phase. One excels in what one fears.

Simple really. He needs to stand in front of the crowd, look into the eyes of his daughter, and talk to her. The crowd (and his fear) will go away.

Simple really. He needs to stand in front of the crowd, look into the eyes of his daughter, and talk to her. The crowd (and his fear) will go away. That is exactly the advice I've given him. Facing his fear will serve him well.
