Is everything predetermined to a degree...and is this mapped out in the stars as many believe? Looking into the night skies has fascinated us for centuries...and the ability to gaze backwards into "time" the further we look puts a spin on our realities.
So many cultures through the ages have used the stars as a map, not only to orientate direction - but to prophesize as well.
The alignment of the Heavens run their course - certain astrological events occuring every so many years.
The Mayans, Egyptians, Hopi, Nostradamus, etc. etc...have all used this to divine patterns and portents, calendars and omens...
What are your opinions on this topic?
Are the patterns of our Universe prophetic in nature?
Where are we heading...and although, perhaps, certain events are predetermined - our actions through free will can also play a major role...yet, it begs the question - are the actions of mankind also predetermined - and how much so?
Many would agree we are speeding towards some great time of change and upheaval...perhaps both on a physical and spiritual level...hopefully a time of universal enlightenment.
I would like to hear your feelings on this topic.

I think what it ultimately comes down to is choice. The patterns above which have coincided to patterns below can be carried out under veiled consciousness but IF mankind can only awaken I believe humanity can shift and a new time line can begin. After all the prophecies were based on past observances which were carried out in a time of darkness spiritually. It was their now time just like this is ours. Now is the time for change....right now.  |

So we are speaking here of a "universal consciousness"...which, I suspect, reacts like the weights of a scale...shifting accordingly...
Yes...now is the time for change...it always was and always will be...yet, can the scales shift enough in what we know as our time to illicit the changes needed right now?
Perhaps when looking at the picture from the outside in is defeating in nature...perhaps the only way is to "become the change we wish to see in the World"...? To step inside the circle, so to speak. By looking in as the observer one can often become negative by unconsciously absorbing that element of human nature we are inundated with each day in the media, etc. That is a trap that we should be wary of...for each of us influences the outcome more dramatically than we often realize?
By dismissing our own personal responsibility to the outcome - with the thought that we, as one individual, can have no real influence is one of the spiritual weaknesses we should work to eradicate - beginning, as always, with our own selves...then follows through in the connection we all share...
Every thought and action we embrace throughout each day is then of great importance to the scheme of things...and the pitfall is in underestimating this importance?

The only true obstacle to our spiritual/evolutionary progress has always been human-made ideas, which usually fall far short of the values and precepts of Cosmic/Natural Law. When we go beyond specific cultures, nationalities, ideologies, political and social systems, it is then that our true purpose and essence as conscious beings is revealed. We are not of nations but of God. Our true self is not composed of thought or social imagery, it is made of consciousness. In consciousness we know our fellow human beings as a part of ourselves. We are all One because we are all composed of the same universal consciousness, (God/unified field).

I think that all prophecy has a dual outcome, at least. Unfortunately, it is only after the prophecy has been fulfilled that people recognize it.
I also believe that the Creator of the Universe has a plan, and that this plan will unfold. Our free will determines HOW that plan will unfold, not IF.

Perhaps the Creators' plan is allowing humanity to determine it's own outcome. I was thinking...you know.. time is not really linear...I've glimpsed inside that realization, however perhaps it is circular in it's nature...therefore the Creator's plan would BE humanity's intent! Humanity and Nature being at one with and part of the Creator.  |
