I am sad to say that my Pepper dog passed away at 11:00 p.m. on June 11th, just shy of her 17th birthday. I feel a part of me has gone on with her. She was my dearest little friend and spent almost every day of the past 17 years by my side. I shall miss her everyday...but I will always remember the joy she brought to everyone she met. She had the strongest, kindest heart. She was a beautiful soul. She was always gentle and kind ... with the attitude of a brave little wolf. She would always befriend anyone she met...even any little animals that came into her path. She loved the moon and the stars and would often howl at them. She loved the Creek and would often just sit beside it and look around her, as if admiring the peace and tranquility that surrounded her. She was a very special dog. I will plant a tree at the farm in her memory and will have a plaque carved: "Through the sweet light of love we glimpse eternity." Pepper Dog July 1992 - June 2009 May we meet again.

Pepper went to the gathering with the gift of your love. Her gift to you is her perspective of unconditional love which you shall keep forever.

I am so sorry for your grief and loss and no platitudes really help. You had the greatest gift of 17 years devotion which will be with you forever. Love Elijah

Thank you all. She spent her life blessed with much love and many shed a tear at her passing - what more can any spirit ask for but to touch others in such a beautiful way as to inspire such devotion and love. A very special gift to give and keep. It just goes to show that some of the greatest teachers have never spoken a word.
