Swine Flu

All this fear being put forth. It's almost like the media is purposely scaring the public to monitor the reaction. The World Health Organization said that this is a threat to humanity. What do you guys think of it all? I read once that thousands of people die from the Flu every year. What is so different about this strain? Not too many diseases are passed between human and animals although animals can be carriers like with Malaria. I'll bet this scare passes like the Avian Flu.

I don't know about this one but I understand that some strains affect the lungs in ways that are far more threatening than others and that until a particular strain can be sorted out precaution is preferable over assuming it will be like any other.
