At that time I was seeking out books about Native American spirituality because I knew deep down there lies is an emotional connection to me. I found this one small shop one day when just driving by. I noticed spirit catchers hanging in the front window. I went in to check the store out and they were just about to have a Native American dance ritual. So I Joined the group and I remember doing much of the same type of dancing as in the video above. Everyone was hugging and giving appreciation to life and each other. It was a beautiful ceremony that impacted me deeply. They called me the seeker....hahahah...I was! Seek and ye shall find...right! ;D After the ceremony I purchased some sweet grass for smudging. Later I came in and bought an amulet that has a Lapis Lazuli and a crystal that caught me eye earlier. I shopped there as much as I could because I could tell they were struggling. The shop finally closed.  But it was a wonderful memory and I thank you for invoking that. I needed that tonight. |
