Question:
There used to be a series on PBS about philosophy. I've been looking for the name and I cannot remember it. There was a woman professor hosting. The show was highbrow a bit dry but fascinating. I remember inquiring about purchasing tapes about fifteen years or so ago. At that time I thought it was a bit pricey. Today it might be on disc or something. Do any of you remember this series?

Thanks for the link but the show isn't there. The series aired in the 80's, a woman, very brilliant hosted the show. It used to air early in the morning...I loved it. The various viewpoints of different philosophers were compared and discussed. I've been searching the net but no go. The show originated from a studio in Maryland. Perhaps I should just call the station.

Now that I have the name I can perhaps find copies of the broadcast. I'll add the book to my Amazon wishlist as well. Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum.
