For the last three weeks I've been staying with Ingrid because I had to install a new used engine in my Durango. She works close to my business and I needed transportation to work so it worked out nicely. I didn't want to rent a car because of the expense of everything. Luckily one of my customers...a German who repairs trucks mainly Freightliner rigs offered the services of one of his employees at half the cost I would normally incur. Now there's a transmission leak..another headache. I still owe two and a half years on the loan so basically I'm stuck. I've always had better luck with Chevys and Fords, I should have known better. Oh well.. I'm looking forward to the day I can trade it in.

I just purchased a 2005 Dodge...so far I'm very happy with it. Vehicles are money pits no matter how you slice it - especially with gas prices being what they are. Up until just recently I was driving a '95 Toyota...she wasn't pretty but she started up everyday, even in the coldest weather...probably would've kept going except someone left the oil cap off when I had the oil checked...blew the engine . Oh well...everything happens for a reason.

I just purchased a 2008.5 Nissan Titan. I have had it 4 weeks and 4 days, and turned 5,000 miles on it today. I am averaging 1100 a week at the moment.
Luckily, I get a car allowance and I don't pay for gas. Otherwise, I'd be broke.
