Participation in every forum I visit has been VERY light over the past few days, if not weeks.
I think the time of year (it's springtime ;D) and that might have something to do with it

Just wondering what's up. ...me hears an echo in here...heeelllloooo...heeelllloooo... G, are you charging too much for a drink in this Cantina?! Unfortunately my prices reflect the rising fuel costs. Sunday although... is happy hour all day! I see...taking time to smell the flowers...good idea.

What's happening? Well, let's see...my 20 year old has a new job and is starting production on his next movie. My 17 year old is at Prom right now, graduating in 3 weeks, contemplating moving out, and filling out applications for college. The little one wants to go fishing all the time. And my brand new truck is 4 weeks old, and has 4,000 miles on it. That's right, had to get an oil change before the dang thing was a month old. Oh, and my top student is in from Africa and we have been working out whenever timing fits. How y'all are? (That's cajun for "how are you people faring?")

No one is ever anywhere. Maybe we can now all go back to The Pythia?

My Durango has been a nightmare since I bought it. This is my second Dodge which has disappointed me, both had similar problems. My next truck will be a Ford, probably a Ranger since gas prices will most likely never go down. So your little one likes to fish all the time huh. Some of my best memories were fishing with my kids. It's good medicine... Speaking of Cajun the weather is getting warm here finally, time to make Andouille. Not true I'm right where I'm at...always. That's twice you've mentioned going back to the Pythia. Don't ya like my place?

Not true I'm right where I'm at...always. That's twice you've mentioned going back to the Pythia. Don't ya like my place? Not really. No-one is ever here to talk to or to interact with. A friend is good sometimes. it's all very well and good to beleive that one's SELF is a just a nonentity, but I am human and I do like a bit of company now and again. a bit like food, you know.

I think this forum is wonderful! We have to remember, it's very new...and it's a challenge for all of us to MAKE it what we want it to be. It is slowly developing it's own personality...these things take time. And...after all it is Springtime...and I for one have been spending alot of time outdoors after the long winter...(just came out of hibernation ya know...need time to STTTREEETTTCCCHHHH.... ) G, you've done a phenominal job with this forum, and it will grow and blossom...the seed was just planted - give it a chance to sprout.

It just occurred to me...I never did say a hearty thank you to G for all the work he's done here. Sooo...since we're in the Cantina...if everyone would kindly raise their glass (or coffee mug in my case right now )...a toast to our friend G! Thank you for giving us a good place to continue our discussions and keep in contact with one another...all your efforts are MUCH appreciated! ;D To G!

Thanks Morningstar I've been a member of several forums that eventually withered away. Sometimes it's difficult finding topics that everyone can bite on. The important thing though is participation even if it's small. Secondly is membership...more brains give more perspectives for insights and new ideas. Finding people that may want to join can be difficult, I've been looking though. It's kind of like fishing....patience eventually lead to results. Thank you for your efforts...it is appreciated. A round for the house.

I apologise for being blunt, but I really miss the invisible log-in that the Pythia had which was really wonderful ad I am sick of feeling under observation and have now become reluctant to go to most forums. This site is very nice but having been dumped and emotionally trashed by most of my friends, I was hoping to have made some new here here but no-one is ever here.
