I began doing some research this morning on the Vikings and their connections in early North America...and from there I somehow got sidetracked to the Celtic/Egyptian connection...

...go figure?

Legend has it that a daughter of a Pharoah of Egypt, known as "Scota" was given in marriage to a learned man of Celtic origin... well, I'll let you read if you wish one of the links I pulled up:

I am astounded at the great expanse of time through which this history still holds true and fast. Especially meaningful is this:

"Ultimately the older magick of the Tuatha De returns to its Otherworldly source, from where it may still be accessed and moves as it chooses in times and places."

I am not sure why I should be so fascinated by that apart from someone has stated the real accessability and motion of magic vs. the logical dimensions of time and space. Just hearing those words is immensely reassuring.

Edit: While I was reading the article I could not help but indulge in my passion for Kipling ::)
