Has anyone worked with Tarot cards and if so which deck was used and how accurate were the readings?
It's interesting to view the readings from a retrospective position. The unfoldment can come years later.

I do not have any experience with the Tarot. I did buy a beautiful deck when I was in my twenties which I still have ... it's an Egyptian deck and I was drawn to it years ago primarily because of the beautiful artwork. I haven't used it very often...but now that I'm reminded of it, I think I'll pull it out again. I would love to hear some perspectives from those who have experience with this medium - it is a very ancient form of divination, is it not?

I personally do not have much experience with using the tarot, as I feel it requires immense knowledge and wisdom to analyse correctly. All these years I had always connected you personally with the most profound understanding and skill in tarot interpretation.
But I must be getting you confused with someone else.
From what I have read, the tarot is very old, far older than we can imagine as a picture tells a thousand words, and for many folk usually that is easier to read than writing. The knack is not the card itself but the interpretation of the cards that are dealt with it in the same reading, maybe?

One thing I have learned about Taromancy is that one should approach practicing with lightheartedness. It other words not too serious where it becomes not fun. It's interesting....when I "play" with the cards and layout a spread or guide my friends the cards that are drawn correspond pretty close to life situations. I like to use books as a guide. I also notice that later on when I reflect to a question that I asked...the cards were right when it came to finding my faults. It's a good idea to record the draw of cards for future reference.
If you think about the concept of time and the manifesting of one's destiny it becomes clear why the cards reveal what they do. A cause and effect deal again.
